And here she is today, on the last day of first grade. She's not too happy about it. I'm sure the time will come very soon when she can't wait for summer vacation, but for now, she said that she will miss her friends and her teachers.
I told her to throw her arms in the air and yell "Woo-hoo!" like other kids are doing today, on the last day of school. She said, "I don't feel woo-hoo today."
Then, I completely humiliated her because I wanted to take a picture of her getting on the bus. She'll get over it.
Mikayla, you did such a great job in first grade. You are a super reader, a good friend to others and such a responsible girl. I love you!

Wow, you'll have a 2nd grader now!!! Cam was really sad about being done with preschool too....but he LOVES to be outside all day, so he's not minding summer one bit either. We need to come play again soon, Roo wants to swing!!
