Perma-Dent

So, you know when you wear your hair in a pony tail and then at the end of the day, you take the pony tail out and depending upon your hair type, you either have a deep, obvious dent where your rubber band was, or you have a less conspicuous, but still visible dent. Well, Gwenyth suffers from the afore-mentioned hair type. Sadly...

This sweet picture was taken Saturday afternoon. The very cute pigtails are still perfectly put together.

This picture was taken Sunday morning. Perma-dent. Need I say more?

Easter Eggs!!

Mikayla and Gwenyth went to Grandmother and Granddad's house to dye easter eggs with fun cousins on Saturday. She had a blast. She has now officially done something that I have never done. I have never dyed easter eggs. I've never had any desire. So here are some pictures. This is Mikayla's cutie Aunt Amanda.

And a cute picture with Granddad.

Fun with Cousins

We had so much fun with Jennifer, Beck and Ainsley last week. The kids had so much fun driving in Mikayla's jeep.

So, everything was going smoothly, all the kids were playing nicely together, until it was Ainsley's turn to drive. She and Beck seemed to be doing ok....

until Beck let out this loud, high-pitched, blood curdling and very manly scream! (Ok, so not manly, I just didn't want to hurt Beck's feelings. It was actually quite girly.) Ainsley stopped the car and Beck jumped out and looked at her.

And here is Ainsley, left in the car..."What just happened? What have I done?"

Then Beck, thinking to himself "Crazy woman driver...I'm staying on the sidewalk, where I'll be safe."

Funny Car Pictures

Josh took these pictures while I was at work the other night. They were having so much fun playing with daddy. He was making them laugh really hard. These kids perfectly fit the definition of a daddy's girl.

Watch Your Step...CRUNCH!!!

Gwenyth got her fiesty little fingers on the bag of Kix cereal that I had stashed in the diaper bag. She was throwing it up in the air and laughing as it fell around her. Mikayla saw what she was doing and decided that they should have a snowball fight with it. I sat calmly on the couch. I say calmly, but I really mean lazily, because I didn't really care that they were throwing cereal all around the living room. That's why I own a vacuum, right? They were entertained and playing nicely together for at least 20 minutes, so I thought, "Eh, why not?"

Of course, the pictures don't do it justice. Its always worse than the pictures show.

Bored Mikayla....

Someone entertain me please...

I'm SO bored!!

Happy, Teething, Yogurt Baby

What do you get when you mix a cute baby with some crazy hair? Now, add a self-applied yogurt mousse...

...and a few cups of out-of-control teething drool...

Now, throw in a cell phone and more cuteness...

Now, mix all ingredients well, and add the biggest smile you can muster...

ENJOY!!

Gettin' Down with Aunt Leeann

Leeann taught Gweny-bean how to dance a few days ago. It was so funny. I really wish I had a video of this. Gweny was bouncing up and down just like her aunt Leeann. It was really cute.

Then, she kept putting her head between her legs. For some reason, she thought she was hilarious.

Unsuccessful Photo Shoot

We only got one good picture...it got progressively worse.

Mikayla's New Flower Obsession

Mikayla has recently become obsessed with flowers. She loves them. My sister, Jennifer, sent me a really cool flower-growing kit for my birthday and after the seeds sprouted, Mikayla wanted to get more, so we went to Michaels and found some little pots with strawberry seeds for only a dollar and we are waiting for those to grow. She is diligent about watering them everyday and she asks at least twice a day, "Is it warm yet? Can we plant flowers outside?"
