What an amazing week we have had! Our family has once again been blessed through the miracle of adoption. Words can't express how happy we are. We have waited a long time to hold Lucas in our arms and he was worth every minute of stress, desperation, grief and worry. We've prayed for so long for another baby to complete our family and my faith is only strenghtened knowing that the Lord has heard our tearful and pleading prayers. We have been truly blessed. Here are a few pictures from the hospital. Mikayla and Gweny are absolutely in love with their baby brother. He's such a sweet baby. We love him so much!

I try to take pictures of Gweny. Most of the time, I try to get her without her noticing because she has a pretty little face. Sometimes, we can get a spontaneous smile and its really, really cute.

But most of her pictures just end up like this.

Or a profile, off-center shot without her looking. Because if you tell her to smile...

well... this happens!

We are really going to have to work on this before her wedding day! She's a doll, really. I love this little girl!

More From Hawaii

Here are more pictures from our wonderful trip to Hawaii last month. We had such a great time. Gweny keeps asking when we are going to go back. We had a blast enjoying the warm weather, the beach, aquarium, whale watching cruise, laua and so many other fun things. These pictures are not in any sort of order.
