If you haven't heard Mitt Romney's "Faith in America" speech, click here to listen to it. I was moved by his integrity and his willingness to publicly declare his belief in and love of Jesus Christ, even though it could cost him the nomination. (and I'm a democrat!) Anyway...
This is a picture of Mikayla right now. She is patiently waiting for daddy to get home so that we can make pancakes for dinner. She got out her own little baking set and said, "Look Mommy, here's a teaspoon and this one's a tablespoon." I guess our bi-weekly baking dates are paying off already.
We put up our Christmas tree. We debated over whether or not to do it because we will be in Disney World for Christmas, but we decided that it wouldn't be right to have Christmas without a few Christmas decorations. Mikayla had a blast helping us put the ornaments up. You can tell where she was standing because there are lots of blue balls in the lower right hand corner. She did a great job. We love her so much!!
Mikayla felt proud of the outfit she picked out for herself. I think its a winning ensemble!
And finally, just some cute, funny pictures for your enjoyment!

Cutest pictures ever! And the funniest thing is that we were looking all over the internet trying to find where to watch Romney's speech, and we could have just looked at your blog! We, too, thought his speech was really good and appreciated when he said, pretty much, that if honoring and living his beliefs will cost him the election, "then so be it."
We can't wait to decorate our tree! We have one now . . . it's just naked.
