``I often think that there is nothing so bad as parting with one's friends. One seems so forlorn without them.'' - Jane Austen

We recently took a trip to Colorado Springs to visit my parents and siblings. We had a great visit with them. Mikayla was able to play with her best friend in the world, her cousin Beck. They played together very well for the first few days of the visit. They got a little bossy with each other towards the end. My sister, Katie, and her husband, Travis also came and stayed with their new baby, Teagan. My brother, Scot and his wife, Jenny, visited with us and Leeann came home from LDS Business college. We had the whole family together for the first time in a while and it was so much fun. Some highlights of the trip...
*We got to visit with our dear friends, the Robison family for a while. It was great to see them. We miss our Colorado friends so much

*Bathtime - Bathtime with three toddler/preschool age children and one crazy baby made things very interesting

This is Mikayla, Beck and Ainsley. Rub-a-dub-dud...there were three in the tub. After we got these kids out, we put Gwenyth in for a quick bath. Mikayla wandered into the bathroom to see how things were going. She stopped by the tub and looked in for a minute before she said, "My baby sister looks like a frog. Look at all the toe jammers floating around." Toe Jammers is what Mikayla uses to refer to the sock fuzz that gets stuck between your toes. Gwenyth admittedly has a problem with Toe Jammers.

*Girls Night Out!! We dropped all the kids off with the husbands and the girls attended a stage production of White Christmas, which has always been a very favorite movie of ours. We wish Leeann could have been there, but she had to go back to school. We had a great time and loved the play.

So from left to right, that's Katie, Me, mom, Jenny and Jennifer. We had such a great time.

We were very sad to leave and come home. We miss our family so much. It was hard to move away from them. I'm glad we had to opportunity to have such a nice visit. We love you all!

Good to know you had a blog, Merilee! The girls group our little Christmas program last night at Sunrise, and I must admit, I thought of you and wished you were there. Little Gwyneth is so adorable! And so is Mikala, of course. Keep in touch!
